Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data to support decision-making. This role requires a thorough understanding of accounting principles and a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial records: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable.
  • Financial reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and other reports as required.
  • Budget management: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of company budgets and forecasts.
  • Tax compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws. Assist in the preparation of tax returns.
  • Reconcile accounts: Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.
  • Auditing: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and financial records.
  • Payroll processing: Oversee the payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of salaries.
  • Expense tracking: Monitor company expenses and prepare reports for management review.
  • Financial analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-5 years of accounting experience.
  • Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar), and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
  • Soft skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Working Conditions:
