Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Planning: Develop detailed designs and plans for civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, and infrastructure.
• Project Management: Manage and coordinate construction activities, including liaising with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Site Inspection: Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess project requirements and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Budget Management: Prepare cost estimates, manage project budgets, and ensure that resources are used efficiently.
• Technical Analysis: Perform engineering calculations and analysis to ensure the structural integrity and feasibility of designs.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs and construction activities comply with local, state, regulations and standards.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the design and construction phases.
• Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in civil engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP2000).
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily office-based with occasional travel to supplier sites or industry events.
• Flexible working hours may be required depending on project timelines.
